| Description (Service) |
Married or common law couples who have 3 to 4 hours per week to spare, and would like to share the joys and rewards of befriending a boy or girl, can enrich their lives by volunteering together as a Couple Match. They can share the warmth, love and stability of their own partnership with a child and enjoy a variety of activities together. Couples usually spend about 80% of their time together with their Little Brother or Little Sister, allowing some one to one time with either partner. The Couple’s interests and strengths are assessed in order to better match them with a child. Couples go through the same screening process as a Big Brother or Big Sister. |
