Description and Service Details
Description (Service) This ten-week program is geared to meet the developmental needs relevant to young girls in our society. The focus is on ages 8-15 and weekly topics include Relational Aggression, Unhealthy Media Messages, Self-Esteem, Safety, Family Relationships, Healthy Body Image, Bullying, and Positive Relationships. Research shows that children and adolescents need support to establish and maintain healthy relationships as what they learn to accept during early development becomes a “training ground” for future adult relationships.
