| Description (Service) | COVID-19 - The Court Services Department has reopened to the public with limited hours. You can pay tickets, request an extension or trial at the Court Services Department Mon- Fri 10 am-2 pm. People wishing to pay fines are encouraged to use the drop box by the centre entrance, or online services, to limit in-person visits to the court office. All "in-person" Court Proceedings scheduled between March 16 and October 16, 2020 remain adjourned to a future court date. Administers and prosecutes provincial offences including those committed under the Highway Traffic Act, the Compulsory Automobile Insurance Act, the Trespass to Property Act, the Liquor Licence Act. Responsible for processing fine payments, enforcement of unpaid fines, setting trials, recording court proceedings, generating transcripts and other administrative duties resulting from charges laid by the various enforcement agencies operating within Lambton County. |
