| Description (Service) | The Windsor Islamic Council” (WIC) is an umbrella organization of the Muslim Community (Non-profit Islamic organizations mosques and centers in Windsor and Essex County) WIC is an independent non-profit, organization to serve the civic and community interests of canadian Muslims in the Windor-Essex County area. WIC is created by four non-profit “Member Founding Organizations” which are: * the Windsor Islamic Association (WIA * Alhijra Mosque (AM) * the Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA) Windsor Chapter * the Muslim Association of Canada (MAC)Windsor Chapter. Programs include: * 5 daily prayers and Friday prayers * Youth groups * Arabic and Quran classes for children and youth * youth tae kwon do classes * sports program * emergency assistance for household items * Please visit the Windsor Islamic Council Website for details of assistance and or donations of goods * Rental space available in full sized gym * classroom and meeting space * full sized cafeteria for events |
