Description (Service) | Ready Set Go, established in 1996, forms a partnership with families of young children (ages birth to six) living within the downtown core. We assist families in overcoming obstacles such as hardships associated with being newcomers to Canada, poverty, neglect, social isolation, poor health, and inadequate nutrition. Ready Set Go inspires parents/caregivers to build connections and celebrate their community. We share the responsibility for raising healthy, resilient children, and strengthening family well being. Some of our Programs include: - Drop-In Centre - Cooking on a Shoestring - Moms Time Out - Have Fun, Be Fit! - Ready Set School Camp - Growing Gardeners - Nobody's Perfect - Nutrition Workshops - Food Security - Visits from Children First - Busy Babies |
