Description (Service) West Side Seniors Centre  
* offers social, recreational, educational, volunteer and service opportunities through centrally-located accessible facilities 
* Also available is the Life After Fifty's second site East Side Seniors Centre (see website for details) 
Recreation options include; 
* Tai Chi classes 
* fitness 
* silversmithing 
* shuffleboard 
* line dancing 
* arts and crafts 
* luncheons 
* speakers 
* lectures  
* cafe offers hot lunches Mon-Fri for members and general public 
* Basic computer lessons, beginner and advanced Internet instruction  
* Internet access for members 
* volunteer opportunities  
* Membership fee allows access to programs at both Centres  
* day passes are available for non-members  
* sponsoring the Centre Brick program (personalized bricks at entrance)  
* income tax clinics in Apr of each year only  
 
Outreach services include: 
* Referrals to community transportation services 
* foot care services available at various sites(call for time and locations) 
* A place people can go to cool off during times of extremely high temperatures

Winter Hours: Mon-Fri, 8:30 am-4:30 pm * Sat 9 am-1 pm
