Description and Service Details
Description (Service) * WEFiGHT provides direct services to survivors of domestic and international human trafficking in the areas of forced labour, sex trafficking, and forced marriage.  
* Direct services include identifying risk factors and vulnerabilities, intensive care management to assist in addressing factors to prevent recidivism. 
* coordination with community partners 
* WEFiGHT partners with organizations across the province and country to advocate for systemic change and legislative reform. 
 
WEFiGHT.ca provides assistance with the immediate basic needs such as: 
* Assistance with income support 
* Assistance with shelter and long-term housing 
* Clothing and food 
* Advocacy with various agencies 
* Support with the police and the court process 
* Psychosocial supports to address trauma symptoms 
* Immigration needs

Ontario Seeking Applicants for New Fund to Help Survivors of Human Trafficking  
The three-year fund will enhance services across Ontario, including: 
* Meeting the complex needs of survivors with easy access to the right services, how and when they are needed 
* Helping prevent at-risk people from being trafficked with new community initiatives 
* Meaningfully engaging survivors in the planning and implementation of supports 
* Encouraging innovation and partnerships among those who are supporting survivors and working to end human trafficking.
