| Description (Service) | A “community safety zone” located outside the OPP detachments in; * Tecumseh * Lakeshore * Essex/Harrow * Kingsville * Leamington *A place where the public can conduct transactions or trade goods that have been arranged online through websites such as Kijji, Craigslist etc. * Ensures such transaction are not made in secluded parking lots or that unknown people are not invited into residents' homes * The successful pilot project with the Town of Tecumseh OPP has expanded out to all Essex County OPP detachments in 2017 and is in use at participating OPP detachments across Ontario. |
