| Description (Service) | Health Services Department provide assistance to Caldwell First Nation members based on various funding eligibility requirements. Some services we have available are: ~ On-site Nurse Practitioner every Wednesday ~ Medical Transportation Service ongoing ~ Healthy Living and Fitness Classes weekly ~ Diabetes, HIV, FASD, Mental Health, Addictions, Family Parenting and Violence Prevention Workshops and Classes ongoing ~ Healthy Babies, Healthy Children Sessions monthly ~ Senior's Socials and Education Luncheons monthly ~ Meals on Moccasins Services ongoing ~ Youth Empowerment and Education Services ongoing ~ Smoking Cessation Program ongoing ~ Band Representative and Child Welfare Services ongoing ~ Traditional/Cultural Teachings and Language Programming ongoing Health Team Staff Include: ~ Health Programs Coordinator: Jo-D Simpson, BScN, RN ~ Health Programs Assistant: Sabrina Peters ~ Community Wellness Worker: Theresa Lewis ~ Community Prevention Worker: Tracy Simpson ~ Band Representative Worker: Louise Hillier ~ Cultural Development/Language Worker: Carrie Ann Peters ~ Medical Transportation Driver/Health Aide: Joe Wilson |
