|Description (Service)||Rebound Life Choices- 10 week social skills group for youth who show signs of being at-risk of dropping out of school, being in trouble with the law or having difficulties with parents/teen interaction. Topics include communication skills, decision making, goal setting, teamwork, anger management, peer pressure, self respect, drug awareness, bullying and the law.
M.E.S.S.A.G.E- Learn about the dangers and consequences of "Sexting", self exploitation, cyber bullying and harassment. (Females Only)
R.E.S.P.E.C.T- Learn about the legal ramifications of "Sexting", sexual exploitation, harassment, ethical conduce and healthy relationships. (Males Only)
Beyond Bullying Program- An educational program that teaches youth about the devastating consequences as well as the legal consequences of bullying. Teaches youth how to use alternative methods to resolve conflicts.
Teen Intervene- A Brief Substance Abuse intervention that identifies the reason for why teens are using drugs and alcohol and learn new ways to make healthier choices. (Prevention/Early Intervention)
Substance Abuse Program- Comprehensive cognitive behavioural treatment model. 12 Week individual program (1 hour weekly sessions), that explores underlying areas of vulnerability, raising awareness of consequences, understanding anger, fear and anxiety, relapse prevention, coping skills, healthy relationships healthy boundaries, building motivation, becoming a stronger person, goal setting, instilling safety nets for the future.
L.O.S.S. Program- Educating young people on the consequences and impact of shoplifting.
Youth Justice Committee Forum- A one time mediation session between the victim and offender and their parents. Gives the offender an opportunity to be accountable for their actions and better understand how their actions can be hurtful. Allows victims to be heard and to have a voice.
Time to L.A.G. - interactive, educational program designed to address unhealthy behaviours associated with excessive video gaming and the seriousness of boundless gaming. The two session program's primary goal is to educate youth on the benefits and risks of video gaming and to support youth in making healthy, balanced choices.
Community presentations available for free to local schools and agencies.
