Description (Service) REFERRAL MATRIX 
* The referral matrix helps young people, parents, educators, and advocates locate resources to assist youth in crisis across Essex County.  
* By indicating the age, gender, location, and primary need of the individual in question, the matrix will return only the services which meet those criteria and eliminate the need to call around to find the best fit.  
 
Referrals are given for and not limited to: 
* Advocacy 
* Housing 
* Health 
* Substance Abuse 
* Mental Health 
* Food Security and Nutrition 
* Low Income Support 
* Legal Supports 
* Newcomer Support 
* LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bi-Sexual, Transgender Support)
