| Description (Service) | * Provides curriculum designed programs for school aged children * Programming is hands-on, designed to help children remember what to do in an emergency situation * Free Bicycle Helmets offered to Grade 4 Students only, which are distributed through the safety program throughout schools in Windsor and Essex County or click the School Safety Programs link below: Click Here to See School Safety Programs that are Offered Helmets are also fitted and distributed through our community partners at many events, which may be held at schools, day cares, parks, bike rodeos etc. * These events are often listed in The Windsor Star or on AM 800. * Children’s helmets can be fitted and obtained by attending these public programs. * facility offers a child-sized, life-like, hands on environment * all instructions are provided by professionals from police, fire and emergency medical services * Finger printing clinics held during special events * March Break and summer sessions offered * Home of Elmer The Safety Elephant, Sparky The Fire Safety Dog and Siren The Emergency Medical Safety St. Bernard * Information on additional safety programs can be viewed on the web site |
