Description (Service) | * provides city-wide assistance * infant formula and baby food as supply permits * shop for the foods preferred. No more pre-packaged food packs (subject to availability and some restrictions) * Pet Food Bank now available during Food Bank hours * Clothing Bank on site * member of Windsor-Essex County Food Bank Association Donations of food items and canned goods accepted, Mission in need of: * Canned meats such as; turkey, ham, chicken * Canned fruits (in own Juices or Light Syrup) * Grains (Pasta, whole wheat pasta, White rice, brown rice, Macaroni and cheese) * Soups (Beef stew, chili, chicken noodle, vegetable, assorted soups) * Canned Vegetables( Low sodium/no salt added) * Sauces (Pasta sauce, tomatoes, gravy) * Sidekicks (instant side dishes) * Juice (Fruit & Vegetable), individual & family size * Tea, Instant coffee * Salad dressings * Condiments * Sugar/Sugar Twin * Assorted spices and Oxo cubes |

Eligibility | * Persons, transients or families with a demonstrated need for emergency assistance with food and or Clothing * Access limited to once every 2 mos * After hours: working individuals and families in need * identification, preferably with an address and some kind of income statement from the previous month. * If possible please bring reusable bags to take home the food items received from the Food Bank. |
